Stir Fried Celery and Fresh Lily Bulb

stir fried celery, fresh lily bulb, carrot n bell peppers

Another easy peasy stir fried vegetables dish. Heat oil in wok and once its hot, put in chopped garlic. Once fragrant, chuck in the celery, carrot and capsicums (bell peppers). Stir and sprinkle with some prawn stock. Add some salt to taste. Next, stir in fresh lily bulbs. Dish up and serve with rice. Don't you love all the colours??

  2. pablopabla, in the picture there, those looked like onions are lily bulbs. lilybuds is kum jum is it?

    tehsee, they're crunchy and hmmm have very mild sweet taste

  3. Yes, it's kum jum (or sounds like that) but I thought it is green in colour??

  4. pablopabla, the one i've used is bulb not bud LOL bud is the flower portion before it buds out. the bulb is the root part. so don't confused over them. you may wanna see how it looks like over here http://thefeastcrusade.blogspot.com/2006/02/weekend-herb-blogging-20-lotus-leaf.html
