Hello... I'm in the midst of revamping my blog to make my life a little easier. So do not be alarmed as work is still under construction.

Cameron Highlands Part 5: Bala's Holiday Chalet

After hearing so much about Bala's Holiday Chalet in Cameron Highlands and from Chen, we decided to drop by to check the place out. It's located at the fringe of Tanah Rata. The road leading up to Bala's Holiday Chalet is very narrow. Seems like there is limited parking space around unless you park on the lower part of the road.

First hand look, it looked like Ye Olde SmokeHouse or Lake House... Tudor style. Very English... lotsa greens surrounding it. Very lovely, I think we might opt to stay here next. From one of the clippings on the reception wall, the building used to be a boarding school. For more details, check out its history over here.

Bala's Holiday Chalet do not only offer a place to stay, I heard they serve a very mean curry for lunch or dinner and Devonshire Tea in the afternoon. We did not get to savour the curry but we did had some scones. Will blog on the food later. In the meantime, enjoy the pics. Gonna post small size pics since there are many in this collection. To enjoy them, click to enlarge.
