Anyway, I got interested with this recipe since it does not uses any sugar but honey, plus the method is super easy. The cake turned out very fluffy despite the heaviness of the dates. I find them better after storing in the fridge and also the type of honey will determine the flavour of the cake. My honey gave out a flowery scent which is kinda weird to go with this cake. been an avid reader of ur blog for ages n always found myself wishing that i could eat at the places tat u do. i will be vacationing at Genting and will be in KL for 1 day so would like to (pretty pretty pls) ask for ur recommendations for must eat places (halal) around Capitol Hotel,which is just opposite Lot 10. Don't want to waste my time eating substandard food,must make full use of the time/stomach space. Haha. i trust ur choices. Also is there anything (food,again) tat i shd buy to taste/bring back to Singapore? Tks a million....

err if add nuts (cashew/pistachio/walnut)...would it be nicer?? flowery honey smell in the cake? hmmm...no need buy potpourri liau..can substitute for air fresheners :P
