As I've updated in my post about Fook Kee, they have now shifted across the road, within Queen's Park complex. Even their name spelt differently now haha but rest assured, they're the same people. The reason they shifted was the old place which is actually a shack tend to flood during heavy rain. It's more comfortable now at the new place.
This round instead of having rice and dishes, we opted for noodles. I picked Kong Nam meen since we've never tasted their version and this was how it looked like - deep fried sang meen (fresh noodles) overflowing with not too starchy eggy gravy topped with generous serving of prawns, squid, pork meat, baby corn, cauliflower, mushrooms, snow peas and carrots. No doubt, this version is pretty good but I still stand by Greenview's.
Hubby asked for a plate of Kum Hiong Lala which is spicy stir-fried clams with crunchy deep fried dried shrimps and fragrant curry leaves. The clams are quite substantial in size and there are actually clam meat in there as oppose to some places where they have more shells than meat! It's tasty to suck and lick the sauce that coated the shells on top of crunching the dried shrimps.
Comfortable and spacious, reasonabily priced food and parking is easier now within the complex which costed RM1 only. What more to ask for?
