Review: Curry Puffs at Ikea's

DSC01071 DSC01067

Can't resist to post this up after going thru the yummilicious looking curry puff at Team BSG's Devi's Corner. I know this is a very lame post and most of you would have tried these out at Ikea's Exit Cafe but then again the curry puffs are so addictive that you'll never get sick of them, in fact you'll return for more!

For RM1.00 a piece, it's really value for money to have a medium sized crispy hot puff filled with potato curry dotted with a smattering of chicken meat (if you're lucky) and a quarter piece of hard boiled egg. It's not overly spicy but it tasted really good.

They can only be found at the Exit Cafe after the checkout counters. If you're there on weekends, be prepared to wait in the long long queue. BTW, their hotdogs and soft served ice-cream are great too!

Sorry for the blurry pics cos I took them in the moving car. No choice lah... better get the pics before they all disappeared!

Yup, I like this curry puff too. Did you see the recent sign they have at the escalators? No trollies on them as you need to use the lift. Suspect there must have been an incident recently.

too bad they don't have curry puffs in ikea sydney :( There's only hotdogs in buns with unlimited supply for mustard and ketchup.

I absolutely love these curry puffs. Sometimes, I make a trip to Ikea just to ta-pau these curry puffs! They usually end up being the main course for unhealthy, but worth every bite!

oh yeah, da curry puffs are really yummy!!!!!! my parents love it so much that each time we make a trip there we must pack some home ;)

As Swee said, no currypuff in Perth ikea either. I normally get my currypuff fixes from the nearby oriental shop. But they are as big as a saucer and cost about AU$1.50 each. No dainty currypuff here. Even the biggest in Malaysia is small compare to what we get here. Enormous and gigantic...

i din take notice boo_licious but so far i have not witness anyone using the trolley up the escalator. haha maybe they do have some accidents.

Curry puff.. how will we ever survive teatime without them!! LOL

But I find the old hotdogs (before the whole halal issue blew up) better. I loved the 'crunchy' skin. With the unlimited relish, mustard and ketchup, simply to die for!! The hotdogs lah.

As I mentioned in boo's blog, woohoo!! the only two food blogs I read regularly are in the most influential blog list!! Congrats babe!
