Sorry for the long long silence. Been bogged down with work, lots of them with a very tight deadline. So this will be a short and brief post to keep me and this blog going.
One rainy nite, hubby and I got to Leisure Mall for dinner in order not to get drenched. Walked around, no idea what to have so we ended up in a place called Kopitiam Traditional. Yeah the name is just Kopitiam with a TM behind it but how to trademark “kopitiam”??
Anyway, glanced thru the menu and we ordered our food. Since this happened some time back, I can’t really recall what we have ordered and the prices but rest assured it’s very reasonable.
I think hubby had a deep fried chicken set of rice, one whole deep fried chicken thigh and fried egg. The set came with a choice of hot or cold drinks. I stole some bites of the crispy chicken and find the chicken is tasty and loved the sambal that came with it.
Mine is Vietnamese chicken set. Not sure why it’s called Vietnamese when it’s clearly soy sauce chicken haha, nevertheless, it was good.
My rice set came with soy sauce chicken thigh; braised hardboiled egg and tofu in the same soy sauce. I like them all!
Both sets came with a choice of hot or cold drinks. Not bad a place and I don’t mind returning.

ReplyDeletethis place is actually right opposite of Chicken Rice Shop in LM's foodcourt area. Been there quite a number of times already, but haven't gone back recently.
ReplyDeleteTheir Nasi Lemak with Chicken curry is quite appetizing as well.
lucky i had lunch before opening your blog!
ReplyDelete:) How's things with you?
Hehe..the last time i had Vietnamese Style Crabs at a neighbourhood restaurant, it came in a weird tasting sweet and sour sauce. I would expect lots of fish sauce. Hehe. They should just call it free-style hor?
ReplyDeleteThere's another outlet here at Cheras Biz Centre. Quite empty most of the time :)
ReplyDeletehi all, sorry no time for individual reply. yeah its funny there is no lemongrass nor fishsauce for the soy sauce chicken. maybe its cooked by their Vietnamese cook, hence the name... hehe
