For the benefit of Joe and others, here are the new car park rates which I managed to capture the week before for MidValley Megamall and The Gardens effective from 1 November 2010. I think the price is the same just that there is no more ceiling rate! I wonder what's the rationale... so they don't encourage shoppers to eat, shop and watch movie in one long stretch???
Wow. Could turn out to be an expensive day out!.... (no max makes a big dif)
ReplyDeletewhy thank u!
ReplyDeletewas there ever a max charge? haha never bummed there for THAT long to get a shock at the parking fees, usually pavilion is the one that gives me a shock haha.
On the bright side... the lost ticket penalty seems to have stayed the same (though I think I've never lost a ticket before, touch wood!)
ReplyDeleteNo no... the weekday rate has increased from RM1 for the first 3 hours to RM2. Think I will frequent 1U more often then.
ReplyDeleteYaaa, I took out a dollar as usual the other day after all my errands and the machine wanted $2. It does deter people from browsing longer. Thanks for the head's up!
ReplyDeleteJ, yalor :(
ReplyDeleteJoe, yes hehe we spent whole day there before LOL
Sean, eeekk try to be careful too on that
Opps thanks Kawaii, I've really no idea :p
Ping, sad hor :(
take MRT la......
ReplyDeletei was there last month and honestly am little pissed with it. so i just parked at the premier car park. i was there for almost 5 hours and the rate was RM9...not bad. this is better than KLCC, i was there for like less than 3 hours and the charged me RM10.20...yeah talk bout raising goods and this is only the bloody car park that is stuffy and gloomy.
ReplyDeletesighhh Lisa, everything is getting so expensive these days huh?
ReplyDeleteAiyoh.. does that mean i cannot park my car there and take train go gai gai anymore??
ReplyDeleteI heart their RM1 weekdays parking :(
the reason they increase the parking rate as they are a lot of people park their car there and take train to work in kl causing less parking for people to shop there. but at the same time, for those genuine people who want to shop there to pay more for parking.
