Condolences to the Tees

It is with the heaviest heart to inform that a very good friend of ours, ST Tee, has lost his life in a car accident. His car crashed into a stationary crane at NKVE on Tuesday afternoon. I supposed by now you must have read about this piece of news in the paper.

There will be no postings until... I'm not sure when... I guess when I have the inspiration again.

I'm very disturbed with the way things are being done in this country and I feel sorry for the Tees to have lost a wonderful husband and father; and for myself, a very great, helpful, wise and kind friend; all because how some arseholes took things for granted. I'm not going to speculate anything until a thorough investigation have been done by the Police and sincerely hope there will be witnesses stepping up to offer any information that they could share.

Police urged those with information on the incident to contact Chief Inspector P. Nallusamy at 03-55102222 or the nearest police station. So if you've witness anything on that day, please do contact the police. Thank you.

Unker Tee, we wish you a great life in Heaven. Your laughters will echoes through the corridor of our memory.

Lavendar, in your silence and grief, we are here with you always. Let us know how we can help.

  1. That is a trajedy and u have our condolences. Sad that this type of
v believe negligence( no clear warning signs probably/tidak apa attitude) on some 3rd party(ies) caused innocent another life to go like this. Sad that this thing still continues in our so-called first class infrastructure.

  2. Even having witnessed an accident, many of us are not conscientious enough to standup as witness. We may continue to blame it to the system for not being conducive but lets look into ourselves and make the change. The system reflects public apathy. The very fact that AAM which supposed to represent the interest of drivers and other car clubs are not even thinking about lending a voice in having the government to rectify many anomalies. Did we got the right representation there?

Don't let something happens to our loved ones to jolt us into action. The irony is that bureaucracy is always against those who are at the receiving end. Yet again, this public apathy can be turned into a public outcry for the respective Ministry to give some attention. Many things will fade into oblivion.....till we, the public, demand for correction!

For Unker, I hope he is up there and benefit all the prayers we are saying for him. I don't know about you but I will say a daily prayer for him (and his family) everyday for the next 1 month. Many can't be there for them physically but I hope many can be with them spiritually. This I would do.

  8. Uncle Tee used to attend my church (JIC) years back. :-( Alot of us are very sadden by this too. But we all know he is in a better place now with the Lord. May God gives comfort and peace to his wife and children, during difficult times like this.

Yesterday I discovered this song which immediately reminded me of this incident.

    They let him go.
    They had no sudden healing.
    To think that providence would
Take a man from his family while they pray
    Is appalling.

Who told us we’d be rescued?
What has changed and why should we be saved from nightmares?
    We’re asking why this happens
To us who have died to live?
    It’s unfair.

This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
    And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held.

    This hand is bitterness.
We want to taste it, let the hatred NUMB our sorrow.
The wise hands opens slowly to lilies of the valley and tomorrow.

I burst out when she told me that Tee had mentioned to her before that I'm one of his nicest friend he had ever met via the internet :(

  12. Hi babe_kl; condolences to his family. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be said that would be of comfort to his family on his sudden demise. But our prayers go with him.

  16. Condolences to his family. I might not know him, but reading about the news almost a week ago does makes me angry as to why the crane, which were involved in an earlier accident, wasn't removed pronto.

    sigh.

  17. I know Lavendar and have met Tee briefly a couple of times. I'm still in shock over the news. We do not know what actually happened. What makes me angry is how so many parents take for their children's safety for granted. Today, I saw a car with the backseat full of plants. A toddler of about 2 or 3 was STANDING in the front passenger seat! Children sitting with the maid or parent in the front passenger seat isn't uncommon. Adult restrained but not the child. The "It won't happen to me" attitude must change!

  18. stupe, which is why i'm appealing for the witnesses to step up. in 21/3 Berita Harian, the reporter managed to get details from one witness whom stopped to help. he mentioned many saw the accident but din stop. how pathetic!

min, there are many such morons on our roads! sighh i'm supposed to organise a dinner at yr steamboat place but with this... i'm still dragging my feet :(

  19. a life is lost. someone lost her husband and some kid lost their father.

i feel sad too. the highway authority should do more to ensure we that pay for the toll are at least safe.

compared to what we see on TV (like maximum xposure or the amazing video) where passerby will battle with their own life to get someone in accident to safety...i guess we malaysians are just too stuck with our own sorry self.

    tidak apa...semua ok.

same goes for those parents which drives with the kids on their lap...they think it's cute.. and they don't think things will happen to them.

also same like those young drivers...which whizz in and out of traffic like they are going for their own funeral...

To Tee's family. my condolencs again. i hope someone will step forward and help with the investigation.

  21. what to do stupe, those moronic parents are very typical Malaysian - mudah lupa, tidak apa and semuanya ok!

  22. what a sad news. I just got to know this yesterday. I only met him once during toyota TT in Jun 2003. If I am not mistaken, his wife was there as well. The rest is through his autoworld & MTM.

Be strong, Mrs Tee & children. I know how it feel to lose your daddy as I too have lost my mummy when i was 4 years old.

  25. DEAR MRS.TEE
My deepest sympathies to the late STTEE's family at the loss of a great husband and father.I wish I had known UNKER TEE when he was well. I can only conclude he must have been a kind, generous, and honourable man to have a family who cared about him as much as you did.
Take comfort in knowing that you did as much as you could do to make his last months more comfortable.
I know you will miss him greatly. During this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts.
