Healthy Prawns Fried Rice

Healthy Prawns Fried Rice

This is a rather healthy fried rice using day old rice, eggs, prawns, diced red and yellow bell peppers, chopped garlic, a little oil and chopped spring onions. Just need to place a little oil in a wok and scramble up the eggs and set it aside. Then pour in some oil and fry the garlic till fragrant (not browned) before adding in the prawns. Stir till cooked and add in some salt. Next add in the bell peppers and stir a bit before adding in the rice. Stir quickly to mix them up evenly. Pour in some soy sauce to taste and white pepper. Mix in the eggs and spring onions and dish up. Serve hot.

Easy peasy

Btw, I'm super duper busy these days. Updating of blog will be sporadic and reading of blogs... it's almost non-existence! Darn sad :(

Looks delish!! Now, the only problem for me is the day-old rice! I never cook rice at home but this makes me want to start!

freshly cooked prawns without the shells ( as in CKT / fried rice ) are simply delicious but many people avoid it as "dangerous can block your heart". omg so many dangerous foods around but we eat them like hell !

500ml jar of faith, maybe can cook some when you know you wanna fry the next day. actually you can cook in the morning and fry it later in the evening. when it cools down store in the fridge.

KY, then the title would be different already right? :p

Hazza, can't you use frozen ones?

hahaha Daphne!

BSG LOL but bad stuff is good for everyone hehehe

yeah unka cos the rice texture will be drier, hence easier to fry and the rice will remain separated.

;-) C&C

pure glutton, totally agree!

LCOM, comfort food eh?
