For 1 1/2 cup flour...You should adjust your recipe. For 1 1/2 cup flour, I will use 3 tsp baking powder, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/4 cup of milk, 3 tbsp melted butter. Your recipe is too heavy on the eggs. You may not want to blend it. Rather, just beat with whisk.
